TITLE: Accountant

DUTIES: Prepare, examine, analyze and interpret financial information and accounting records of the hospitality business properties, disbursements, and bank records. Prepare reports with respect to material assets, net worth, liabilities, income and expenditure. Analyze and prepare profit and loss statements and balance sheet. Apply principles of accounting to duties related to human resources, payroll, and accounting department. Be responsible for planning budgets, making recommendations regarding financial conditions and the application of funds to improve operations and financial position of business. Establish new accounting procedures and/or modifying existing ones. Be responsible for financial performance evaluation, cost and asset management, and financial evaluation of potential acquisitions or sale of other hospitality business properties. Analyze and process revenue reports received regularly form the business. Devise and implement a computer-based system for general accounting and accounting control procedures.

REQUIREMENTS: Two years of university-level study in Business Administration or Accounting. Two years experience in job is acceptable in lieu of the two years of university-level study requirement.
